You are welcome
That is impressive!
I know, right?
I understand you perfectly
Nonfiction can indeed be very tedious to read, especially if the book is long (looking at you, 'My Life' by Bill Clinton!). Some short nonfiction books and essays often take me way more than they should simply because they are nonfiction.
It took me around six months to finish The Prince, which is like 70-100 pages long, if I recall correctly.
Meanwhile, I have finished fiction novels almost 500 pages long in a single day.
Up to year 12, I used to read whatever I wanted. Then, I spent my year 12 and 13 only reading books related to my subject(s) or almost nothing at all.
Now that is out of the way, I might as well go back to reading my favourite type of books: fiction novels!
(Although university makes that a bit difficult since I have to read a lot of nonfiction every single week
)
Same here!
