I'm thinking of learning sign language - not for any particular reason, just because I think it's an interesting and useful thing to know.
Anyone on here know any books or courses that I could take?

My friend had been learning it for years at the local college 
There's a site www.british-sign.co.uk. It may not be in print, but there used to be a very good dictionary published by Faber.
