I've never been able to burp. Throughout my life, i've probably burped involuntarily less than ten times and that's it.
I frequently feel build up of gas in my oesophagus and then it goes back down again.

I don't know anyone else who has these 'problems' and I was wondering if i'm the only one.

That's quite odd. Well if it isn't coming out that end then surly it's going out the other end. :p:

It can be due to your diet. You probably eat healthy.

Why don't you sling yourself over your mum's shoulder and get her to pat you on the back until you burp ?

Ahahaha, my nan had a really hilarious technique that she said cured wind...

"Drink some lemondade and bend over the arm of the chair..." I doubt that helps you, though. Still funny.

I couldn't burp either until about last November - now I'm burping a fair bit. A little too much, in fact.

My friend had this exact problem. No matter how much fizzy drink he drank, he could never burp.

Simple words: You're not alone. If it really is bugging you, see a doctor.

I never said I was concerned about it. I was just wondering if there are others who can't burp.

Well, my mate cannot burp. That's one, and he's an excellent guy.

I can burp and I'm a prat. I think the evidence is more than conclusive.

Jokes. I'm just saying incase the OP has any second thoughts. Regardless of whether or not he can burp, he is an awesome guy.
