Your mocks are not bad! I know you are disappointed in yourself because you know you can do better, but trust me you'll know a lot more when the real exams come around. I can sympathise very much with maths because it was my worst subject, but I tackled it head on. These were my stats, I hope you will gain some confidence from the following in this order-Mocks Round 1: Mocks Round 2: Final Exam Grade:
English Language 6 7 9English Literature 6 6 8Biology A A A*Chemistry C B A*Physics B A A* Maths 4 5 8Geography B B A*Spanish C C ABusiness C B AChild Development A A AMedia No mock No mock AI kept going and working hard because I was not satisfied with my grades. The no 1 thing you need to have is perseverance. For maths, from around this time I did a paper EVERYDAY. This is the only reason I jumped that many grades. The new GCSE has so many practise papers made in the new style, that it is possible to legit do a paper everyday. After doing several papers, write a list of topics you are recurringly getting wrong then relearn that topic. Mathsgenie is a really good website to target topics specifically one at a time. For english, I looked for linguistic techniques which were well beyond GCSE online and used them to analyse the texts. I made a quizlet with ALL these techniques and ran through them on my way to school every now and then. For sciences you need to make flashcards for the model answers that are always asked beause in GCSE there are plenty of these. For geography learning case studies very well using flashcards is your best bet. Good Luck, and make sure you work hard consistently to prevent last-minute panic.
