Here are my options for GCSE, what do you think of them?

Compulsory:

English Language & Literature - AQA
Mathematics - Edexcel (higher)
Triple Science - AQA (Bio, Chem, Physics)
Religious Studies - AQA

I also do an hour of PE (not the actual GCSE) in school every week.

Options:

Option 1: German
Option 2: Geography
Option 3: Computer Science
Option 4: Economics

Are they any good? Anything you feel necessary for me to know? Any advice?

Very good. Having a language is well sought after as it shows you're determined as they are very hard to learn. Computer Science and Economics are two subjects that will open many doors for you and are key in today's world. Also, most colleges, jobs and maybe uni's will like that you are doing Geography. Good luck in your courses!

I think it's really good to have a modern language and a humanities on there!- they balance out the Computer Science and Economics nicely. Do you have a particular course in mind for uni?

I would like to study Computer Science at uni so that I can become a software engineer, though I could use it in a finance related field (accountancy?)

I've just accepted an unconditional offer for Computer Science at uni as I also want to be a software engineer. The best thing your could do for your uni application is to get lots of subject related experience in.

Sounds good I do GCSE geography and I find it really interesting, but to do well it's important to add lots of detail to case studies and to develop points/link them together
