Hello guys,

I seriously need your help. I am planning to do a 6 year Medicine course in an EU country such as Hungary, Romania or Poland. I am a British Citizen. I am wondering if there are any student loans/career development loans etc. that I can use if I want to study a full-time degree outside the UK?

I am aware that the studentfinancedirect will only lend you money if you want to do a degree within Great Britain. But are there any other options for me?

I will need ~1841 pounds per year for my tuition fee. That's excluding my maintenance costs.

And also, is it really true that under EU law you can go to any other EU country and only pay 1200 Euros (~896 pounds) for your tuition fees to study full time?

Please enlighten me, I seriously need your help!

Any information would be greatly appreciated. Cheers, thanks.

Have you checked out how medical qualifications from Central Europe are regarded in UK?
