Anyone else still waiting to hear back From their chosen uni’s? I know the deadline isn’t until may but I’ve seen so many people having decisions back already it’s killing me waiting!
How do you take your mind off it all? I’m really not holding out much hope on being accepted as I’ve really only got just enough ucas points from a open uni course years ago, rather just be put out of my misery though if it’s a no 😂 then I can check my other options!
I got my first two conditional offers last night, and wasn't really feeling any pressure - but that moment between opening the email saying track has been updated and logging on to see what they said... that, that is when I feel sick!
I hate it! I’ve had a few rejections in so I just want to know now so I can figure out my options 😓 as long as I hear back by the time extra opens i’ll survive I guess.
i totally agree. ive heard back from 3 of my choices. beleive me, u might be thinking why is this dud whining but it felt better not having any decision, but now waiting for only 2 decisions is killing me . uggggghhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!
In the same boat here!!! Constantly checking my emails and UCAS track, I was always one of those people with a life plan so not coping all that well with not knowing where I’ll be this time next year haha!
It'll happen. I don't have any offers yet and I'm not overly concerned. I've had one interview so far and all of the other applications are just in the pipeline. If I don't make it to a Uni this year, there's always next year, and if I want it as much next year, I know it was the right choice to apply.
We're in a privileged position, we are older, have lives.. I spare a thought for the 18 year old guys and girls worried about Uni with their whole lives ahead of them thinking the world is about to end as they cant go to Uni! Then I think, you know what, it's not so bad for us
Do you get an email then telling you when track has been updated? I will know to just check emails obsessively instead of both 😂 how do they invite you for interview.. is that through email?

Yes, you'll get an email when track updates. It happens a few hours after it actually updates, for me at least, but you'll definitely be told - don't need to keep checking aha!
I feel your pain. I’m applying as a mature student and I don’t exactly have the grades for my course so just hoping for the best. Absolutely hate being nervous all the time waiting for a response though.
Hmm so I’ve just checked my emails and they want another reference as the one I provided has come from a personal email address rather than a business one. I don’t know who I’m going to use, Ive been a stay at home mum for the past 10 years and the reference I gave is the only person I have worked for On a when needed basis!

No correspondence that I have had to date has been advised of me through track.
QMUL - I received an email advising me that my application had been updated via their online application system. It has a message facility and it was contained within that.
Southampton - This was done through personal email.
LSE - I was advised via personal email that my application had moved on to the next stage.
I assume that UCAS only be updated when an offer is made or your application is rejected, that way, its absolutely clear where the university stand within the offer process. Whilst Southampton invited me to interview, it was all part of the application process that will form part of a holistic review. A decision will then be made.
I only applied on the 14th but I can’t stop checking emails and track, I’m way too nervous. Only applied to 3 unis and I’ve received acknowledgment emails from 2 of them.

i totally did this. i constantly had both the pages open in 2 tabs and first used to check track and then mail, until i realised that they inform you when there is an activity in track. cheers!
