Triple Science or Combined Science GCSE for A-Level Physics?

Greetings,

I am currently in year 11, 2018, doing the 9-1 science specification. I would like to know if it would be a good idea to take triple science for my situation. I'm probably guessing I would get 7 or 8 in Combined Science. However, my teacher told me that getting a 6 in Triple Science would be able to get you into A-Level Physics easier than getting a 7 or an 8.

Please comment which of the two would be accepted more easily (if that makes sense); 7 or an 8 in Combined Science or a 6 in Triple Science.

I don't think there is a definitive answer to this question, as entry requirements vary between institutions - for example, at my sixth form, you could get in with just a 5. However if you are planning to take Physics at A-Level, I think you should be working at a 6/7 in either Combined or Triple Science as a safe bet.
Good luck!
