When i was looking for unofficial answers for my OCR GCSE exam. Signed up to it so i can post the answers i got. Now i just laugh at some of the dumb situations people get themselves into and ghost the people who “help” others, i know its all for the green tic tac.
Edit: TSR is the biggest mistake of my life

Dude. You have totally got to check out The Sims Resource. There are some custom railway stations there you can download :train2:

Probably the reality of 99% of people on here!

I can't remember why I signed up. (I had another username years ago) I signed up again for some OU stuff.

Before I even made an account, I would browse through various threads, mostly the heated debates and about GCSE Science as they changed the specification for my year (2015).

I specifically signed up because I needed help on a question for Biology.

I think I first saw it when a thread came up as a result when I was asking google why I was ******** so much.

I signed up so I had a place to talk about stuff people don't normally chat about, and so I could voice opinions that would be a bit too spicie for average irl chats.

Some sort of google search for something to do with school but can’t remember what the search actually was now. Decided to join because it seemed like a good place.

Some girl was banging on about it in biology class when we were dissecting hearts. Curiosity killed the cavy and joined because of the GCSE 2015 thread

I was looking for a solution around extra help for disabled OU students in exams and how to go about it, I didn't particularly target here, it just came up in the search engine, didn't sign up at that point though but did look at the threads from time to time for the next quite a few years. I finally signed up when I was trying to help out one of my children with a question and got annoyed with the constant adverts telling me to sign up.

Like a few people, I found some TSR threads a few times with some Google searches. This isn't the reason I signed up though. I can't remember why I signed up the first time but I remember wanting to participate in the current Year 11 thread of the time so I guess that influenced why I made my first account in August 2016.

I ditched that account long ago but re-registered in September last year. I was kinda missing this site for reasons I can't remember but I wasn't expecting to use this account for procrastination reasons like I do now.

April 2012: about a month before my exams at college. I can't remember why I signed up - but it definitely kept me sane that summer having people to talk to while I waited to hear results.

My school were advertising getrevising just before we did our French GCSE in year 9 and I thought it looked helpful so I signed up. Then in August they emailed out saying with a link to something on TSR. I somehow went from that to the current year 10 thread and wanted to join in so signed up.
And here I am 2.5 years later rather thoroughly attached!
