A Berkshire Wolf escaped

Luckily it has now since been captured, but it appears someone left the gate open deliberately for it to escape

Good bloke

These bleeding heart animal rights activists are complete blithering idiots. Their actions could have led to the death of the animal (and it is a miracle the police didn't feel the need to shoot it, and that was only because this one was so docile and amenable to being caught) or to the injury of people.

Oh man!

The wolf's name is Torak. A lot of people won't get that reference but it refers to the fictional story "Wolf Brother", one of my favourites, in which a prehistoric young boy adopts a wolf cub and raises it as his own, going on a quest to avenge his father that was killed by a demon in the body of a bear.

Just a little trivia for you all.

Edit: The boy's name is Torak, the wolf is simply just called Wolf.
