JP's Journey to Joyful GCSEs

Hiya, Welcome to Tobi's GYG of GCSEs

Introduction:
Hello, my name is JP, but you can call me Tobi. I'm Welsh and therefore doing WJEC GCSEs. I'm in Year 10. These are my subjects with my expected and wanted grades, respectively.

English Literature (WJEC), B, A

English (WJEC) B, A

Maths (WJEC) B, B

Welsh (WJEC) D, B

Triple Award Chemistry, Physics and Biology (WJEC) A, A*

ICT (WJEC) B, A

Computer Science (WJEC) A, A*

History (WJEC) B, A

Welsh Baccalaureate (WJEC) M2, D2

Wales, or rather, WJEC is a funny thing, as we still use the old grading system, and coursework is still a big part of our final mark. Also, despite being Welsh, I hate the language. I do however, want a good grade, so I am doing my best. I want a career as a full-stack developers, hopefully in C# or C++.

Why am I blogging it?
I want to get better at everything, and I want to get into Oxford or Cambridge, or at the least Bristol. I want to get my A's and go. I can only do that by putting the work in. I'm going to be blogging my revision, my problems and how to overcome said problems. I am quite stressed and I do want to become healthier, whether that is by dietary or mental facilities. I need to be motivated and have seen what some people do here, so I thought I'd give it a go.

It is is 21:03/18/01/2018. Official start is tommorow. Have a nice night, hwyl fawr.

I have three of my sciences, both my English Lit (just did one on OMAM and poetry) a history one, and I do believe a math one.

I'd love to pursue a masters in Computer Science, and then go on to become a Java or C#/C++ developer. Thanks for the kind words, and good luck in Year 10 too.

We're doing coursework on MacBeth, Romeo and Juliet and then An Inspector Calls. I didn't use Mr Bruff, I used 'Mr Salles Teaches English', which is AQA, but books and English don't tend to change, so it's good.

Thanks.

Bore da. It's 7:46am at the time of this update. I woke up and 5 to 7, and stayed in bed until 7:15. I want to eventually get up at half 6 and have a shower, which I do every evening. I had two pieces of wholemeal toast and a cup of tea. Today I have Biology, Maths, English, double IT and a Welsh Oral Assessment. I'll post after school about my plans for today, thanks.

Hwyl Fawr, have a good day!

It is currently 20:11, and I am thoroughly disappointed in myself. I've been in a bad mood wit ha deep clean of my room that my brother didn't help with. I didn't end up doing the Welsh Oral as the teacher started like 5 minutes before the end of the lesson. Right now, I'm finishing the 'Water' topic in my book and then going for a shower, then completing my Histroy homework. I'm going to then have a light snack and sleep. Have a nice night, all.

Nos da.

Right now is it 11:10. I went to sleep at about 11PM last night, and woke up at about seven, but went back to sleep and woke up at 10AM. I haven't ate yet, but I've had a cup of tea. I don't know what to do today. If any reads this, any suggestions? Thanks.

Do you have any upcoming tests you could organise yourself for?

Or if you didn’t want to study, how about meeting some friends or going out?

I do believe I do, and the Welsh weather is being Welsh, so I'll do that. Thanks

No problem  glad to see you’ve decided to blog your experiences.
