Hello, I recently sent my UCAS application and I really wanted to have applied to Dundee since I love the course and University campus. However, since I am not from the UK, and was not aware of the fact that in scotland, some bachelor degrees are called Masters, I did not apply to Dundee, because some of my teachers told me that the course offered was not a bachelor (not an undergrgraduate course). A few days ago a friend of mine called me and explained to me that the course offered was indeed a bachelors degree with an integrated master.
Since I really want to go to Dundee, I was thinking of rejecting my other offers and applying to Dundee through clearing, do you think that this is a good idea? Is Dundee´s school of architecture competitive? will they have available clearing courses for architecture? my predicted grades are ABB and I got good IGCSE grades, but I´m from the EU, will that mean that I won´t have a good chance of getting in?
Thank you and sorry for the inconvenience.

Hi Yag

What you can do is decline all your offers and then use the extra service, which allows you to make one more choice. The advantage of this is that it is before clearing opens.

What I suggest you do is contact Dundee direct and work out whether it is the course for you and the likelihood of you being able to get an offer before you commit yourself.

You can always use clearing when that opens later in the year.
