I'm still waiting too - submitted my application way back in September 2017. A decision sometime soon would be nice :-( All the best!

Hey guys, I haven't seen a thread for this course surprisingly, so I thought I'd make one myself.

GCSEs - 2A*, 7A, 2B
A-level Predicted grades - A*AA (Maths, Economics and Spanish)
Application status: Initial assessment (4/12/17)
Further assessment (5/1/18)

Anyone got an offer yet?

Exactly the same subjects as me and not yet :frown:

AS: AAAA
Predicted: 3 A*s and A in Further Maths
GCSE: 2A* 4A 2B 2C (but I have special circumstances because my school burned down in a fire the year before my GCSEs)

Hey guys,
Is there a point even applying with my 10 GCSES they seem too low for this type of uni (CCCCAAAABB)
Is it worth even trying to apply? I’m taking a gap year so if I manage to secure A*A*A in maths biology and chemistry a level would there be a possibility of getting an offer or is there no point even trying?

Hey everybody,
GCSE grades: 8A*, 5A and 1B
AS: Maths (A), Economics, (A), Chemistry (A) and French (A) - I'm taking Further Maths AS this year but am predicted an A
A2 predictions: Maths (A*), Econ (A*) and French (A)
Universities: LSE, UCL, Warwick, Kings and Queen Mary
I have received offers from Kings and Queen Mary and got into the gathered field for LSE 4 days ago. I'm really worried; has anyone got an offer for Econ at LSE yet??

Hi, we applied to 4 of the same unis and 3 of my A-levels are the same as you, very similar GCSEs too. Did you get any other offers?

Na, still in further assessment. Doubt they will put me in gathered field now as there are only 3 weeks left so just waiting for a decision

What are your stats?
Got BSc Econ today!!!

Got 11A*s, 1A at GCSE
Doing maths, further maths, econ, history and EPQ (predicted A*, A*, A*, A, A*). Got above 95% UMS at AS
on the 6 maths modules.

Rejected from Cambridge after the interview, got offers for straight econ at Warwick, St Andrews and Birmingham too.

Applied before October deadline and got put further assessment in November ish, gathered field in early January.

The wait was killing me. Had three guys get straight econ at my school from LSE back in January and no one since (except for things like maths and econ or government and econ). Was so relieved when I got the email.

GCSE’s: 10A*s
Predictions: A*A*A* and an A in As further maths

Did an EPQ related to economics and got an A* and had a relatively strong personal statement.

I have offers from Warwick, Bath and Durham all for pure economics. LSE is my first choice.
Got rejected from Oxford pre interview due to not meeting the TSA cut off score.
