You describe your boyfriend as stingy, bad at communicating and NOT FUN TO BE WITH... so why are you with him? People become ready to settle down with age and the stinginess might improve when he has a proper job and more money but he won't be a different person, he won't be kinder or more fun.

I was in a 2 and a half relationship with a guy, he was older though. He never saved his money, no interest moving out of his parents house (I had my own place) and no future goals.
It is way better to be stingy than someone who spends on anything and everything...

Never be with someone that you are hoping will change. You started a relationship with him, him as he is exactly. You either love the person he is and understand the quirks. Or you find someone else who meets your requirements. Not try to change someone.
