Postgraduate application privacy

Hi,

I am an international student and planning on applying (independently) to the master programs in development studies at UCL and LSE. I would like to mention my current employer as one of my referee, however, I am planning on writing some personal details in my SoP that I would prefer him not to know.

Do you know whether my referee will have an access to my application content? SoP and CV?
