Im wanting to go back to college in September to study a level 2 course but already have a level 3 qualification in another subject, not sure if i will need to apply for advanced learner loan or anything.

You should talk to your local college. As far as I understood advanced leaerner loans were for level 3 and above.

You could also speak to advanced learner loans or national careers.

Hi

You can’t get an advanced learner loan to study a level 2 course.

However if you already have a level 3 qualification you can still get funding for another level 3 with advanced learner loans (you are allowed up to 4 different loans)

Hi inspectorbats,

Advanced Learner Loans are repayable, non means tested (not based on the household income) fee loans for all eligible persons aged 19 or over, who wish to undertake courses at Level 3 or above at a College or Training Organisation in England.
