Hi everyone, just wondering some general questions which have been asked at interviews.
Also it is unusual to have a Skype interview for Loughborough, does it put applicants at a disadvantage?

Hi! It depends on what subject you wish to pursue :smile:

Most questions would be:
Why this subject
Why the uni should accept you
What you can offer to the uni

They might ask questions about your personal statement and about any work experience you have had (if applicable)

There may be some subject or university specific questions too, and it depends on the format

Skype interviews don't put you at a disadvantage at all.
Interviews for most departments tend to be fairly informal. They will ask questions about your personal statement so make sure you know that inside out. They are also wanting to see your passion for the subject and why you want to study here. Those are the main things - but no you won't be at a disadvantage by having a Skype interview. Which subject have you applied for?
