Can you track a DBS appeal?

I've had to raise a dispute on an Enhanced DBS check as they have managed to put I was born in "Smeffield" instead of "Sheffield" and so my employer won't accept it.

I'm just wanting to know if their is anyway to track the progress of an appeal?

It doesnt look like it.

I can only suggest keeping in contact with DBS customer services to get an idea how long it will take to check again.
