Discuss this statement with reference to the House of Lords decision in Boardman v Phipps [1967] 2 A.C. 46, [1966] 3 ALL ER 721, [1966] 3 WLR 1009, including in your discussion a critical analysis of whether the strict application of the no conflict rule was the right outcome for this case.
