I am looking for a mentor

Hello,Im looking for a mentor who is in medical school or is a doctor.I'm interested in studying medicine and I'm in year 12.I am studying a level bioogy,chemistry and maths.I want a mentor who can give me tips and guide me on how to succeed in my exams and make a successful application to medical school.Please comment below or PM me if you are interested in becoming my mentor or if you want to give me some advice or tips :smile:.

Yeah! EXACTLY! this is what majority needs today... Same scenario for me dude... Actually we both share the same confusion. Mentors plz help us........Explain us the full route to becoming a doctor once and for all... ie starting from AS or A-levels to which baachelors degree then which undergraduate courses to becoming a general doctor.. PLZZZZZZZZZZZ

Or just read one of the hundreds of threads on here that explain it.
Alevels needed: Biology and Chemistry (and at least one other of your choice)
Apply through UCAS to 4 medical schools. Research them and their entry requirements (some AAA, some higher), course structure (integrated or traditional), location (campus or city)etc. Go to open days to get a feel for the unis.
Most courses are 5 years (sometimes 6) to get your basic medical school qualification.
You are then a junior doctor for 2 compulsory foundation years working full time (this is when you start earning a wage).
Then you get your full qualification as a doctor and you then can choose to specialise in a field or do a PHD.
