Looking at a website for what these grades are equivalent too (I did my exams under the old system) then I would guess yes. However this would be down to your school.

If you get a 45 in science then you might as well be awarded a PhD on the spot.
I'm sure you could if you wanted to, but are you sure it's the best path for you?

A-levels are a lot harder than GCSEs; you may be just passing subjects now, but that doesn't necessarily translate to passes at A-level.

Are you interested in Animal Care, Hair and Beauty, Catering etc.?

A good college diploma could give you much more employability and better future earnings than not great A level grades in soft subjects.

I know someone who wanted to do A levels, but didn't get into sixth form; she's now doing animal care at college and has realised it was the best thing for her. She always hated exams - now she's assessed completely by coursework.

She just needs to do a 1 year course, then she can become a veterinary nurse!
Defiantly

Yes. Most colleges/sixth forms only need 5 passes anyways.
Yeah, definitely. You’ll rarely need more than 5 passes so having mainly 6s already is great.

Is there any possibility of doing A-Level paper only, without completing an AS level exam first? Looking forward to your opinions.

Definitely, It would be a mistake if you dont (Whilst college is good, Sixthform is better) , You should pick only 3 subjects and I would pick Maths as one of them. (Pick 2 easy ones)
Just warning you, at the start Alevels will seem very hard, but then as you go on you, will notice it's not as hard as you thought (In fact it will seem almost easy).

Please, if you do Alevels, work hard, very hard and dont stop. Dont rely on your teachers, learn for your self. Also don't rely on friends.(some friends dont want to work hard)

-If you do pick Maths this website is the best...no question Examsolutions.net,

You can get B/A/A* using this site, all you have to do is:

watch video----> do questions from book------>pastpapers. Minimum B guaranteed.
