Im female and train at running and lifting. Ive not trained for a while but want to get back i to it. I was going to go to the gym to ight to do some treadmill work but the people who I live with have a bad cold and so Ive told myself theres no point doing a training sssion as I’l catch the cold then not train/lose fitness for about 2 weeks anyway.

Does this make sense or is it illogical?

I think it doesn't make sense because you haven't got a cold yet

You've not got a cold and you don't know if you will get one. A bit of an excuse, ngl.

Lame excuse. I've run through colds. The only things I've not run through are asthma issues and just after hitting my head,

If you don’t get out and do it now, you will be even more unmotivated to do it in a few weeks. Stop making excuses and just do it! Just because your family is sick doesn’t mean you will be too! Flood your body with fluids for the next few weeks, get as much exercise and possible and make sure hygiene is good ☺️ x
