I prefer A level Literature so much more than GCSE’s. The texts are so much more interesting and personally I find the exam format better. The only annoying thing is that context is so much more important in a level. For one of the papers context is worth 50% of the marks and it takes a while to get used to how to write a perfectly structured essay with valuable context without making it sound like a history paper. But other than that I’m enjoying everything about English lit so far
