Which answer will get more marks?

A) A stem cell is an undifferentiated cell of an organism which is capable of
giving rise to many more cells of the same type, and from which certain
other cells can arise from differentiation.

B)A Stem cell is an undifferentiated cell of an organism which can divide to produce lots more undifferentiated cells, and from which certain other types of cells can be produced from differentiation, depending on what instructions they’re given.

I would say:
a stem cell is an undifferentiated cell that has the ability to become any type of cell. In animal cells, the ability to differentiate is usually lost early. However, plant cells never lose the ability to differentiate
