Just go straight into it with “In poem (A) the writer coveys.....” etc

Like if the question was “Compare the two poems about family relationships; Walking Away by Cecil Day Lewis and Eden Rock by Charles Causley. Where do they share similarities and differences?”
All you’d need to do is talk about “How both talk about family relationships between parents and children” it doesn’t need to be that long
