I was rejected from Cambridge for Physical Natsci at Emma and have an offer from imperial for chemistry, and am not sure if I should reapply for Cambridge next year or go to Imperial. I would only reapply if I got all A stars at A Level but am unsure if it's still worth the risk!?
My application details:
I go to a private school and have 10A stars at GCSE, and am predicted A*A*A*A for my A Levels - Maths, Chemistry, Latin and Physics. I think my NSAA was about average and one of my interviews went quite well and the other less so. I have an offer from Imperial of A*A*A and am awaiting feedback from Cambridge on more details about my rejection.
Thanks!!

I'd wait for the feedback before making any decisions.

I would also consider that even acting well on the feedback doesn't guarantee you a place.

What you could do is maybe go to Imperial and apply to Camb while at Imperial.

Edit: last option isn't possible - you're gonna have to reject Imperial if you want to go to Cambridge.

Cambridge normally doesn't accept applicants that already at another UK university though

Wait, what if she deferred her Imperial offer and applied to Cambridge in the deferred year?

In that case the Imperial offer automatically disappears.

Edit: But she could reapply there.

Not sure, but isn't it the case that you can't reapply anywhere through UCAS while you're holding an offer already? In any case, it's the same as with already being at university, Cambridge doesn't allow it (they don't want to seem like they are "poaching" good students from other unis or something). So in that regard Oxford and Cambridge are quite different I guess
