is my EPQ too similar to my a-levels?

So i'm currently doing my extended project, my question about whether or not it is possible to lessen the impacts of natural disasters (on edexcel) which is due in about 6 weeks however i feel like its too similar to hazards in geography, which we just started learning about. So i don't really know what to do, can the moderator give me a U if they notice? cause i feel like thats whats gonna happen or do they not care????

Ask whoever is mentoring you for your EPQ. It is supposed to be on something not covered in your A levels. Your mentor should really have picked this up when you discussed your initial ideas for you EPQ, so maybe you should ask them to sort it out!
