lol i did that and i stil cant decide...btw its on the basis that i want to avoid the top end-competition if i can, especially if there are only 4-5 places available at the college :s-smilie:

competition does not neccesarily come into it. It is the case that if no-one suitable turns up at interview thy jusst won't take anyone.

if you have special access behind you, go for a college you generally like, don't hold back on the basis of competetition. true, more elite candidates may apply to trinity and emma, but it doesn't mean you don't stand a chance. if you are good enough, you will get pooled at the very least

downing apparantly has a reputation for law. i'm not really an expert at law colleges, i'd have a scan through some of these threads first if i were you and see what other people have put. the member gzftan has an offer to read law at Gonville and Caius....pm him if you want to know more? sorry if it sounds like i'm fobbing you off, but i really don't wanna give you info on stuff that i'm unsure of myself
