i just wanna pursue science, i’m so interested in it however my current grades are pretty poor ideally i’d take chemistry maths & physics for a-levels, however my mock results for those in order were a C, 6 & B.

i’m working at it as hard as i can for my GCSEs but i’m worried i will not be able to attain decent grades at a-level, even if i do for GCSEs

You'd need the minimum of a B to do any of the science's. Can't say for maths as I took my GCSE's before the number system so have no idea what a 6 would stand for in the old letter grades. You're on track to be able to do physics at A-level, but you'd need to push your Chemistry up to a B.

I was scared when I went on to Chemistry and Biology A-level that I wouldn't do well despite my GCSE results too. In class tests I had a mix of really good grades and really bad ones. Basically my heart was sort of in it, but not completely. By the end it just wasn't in it at all. --- Having the knowledge is obviously a thing you'd need, but along with that you're heart REALLY does need to be in it to do it. That's all I'd say really.
