    Which university is this at?

It's hard to say without knowing more about the interview. Is it a presentation or talk with the interviewer and the other interviewees?
You could talk about children who struggle with maths (maybe dyscalculia - if you know what you're talking about), the maths curriculum, the different approaches to teaching maths, etc. Try and link it to your work experience and, if the university has done some research on mathematics teaching, you could talk about that.

My university, Plymouth, is the base of the Centre for Innovation in Mathematics Teaching (CIMT) and they created the Mathematics Enhancement Programme (MEP), so the maths lecturers there know a lot about it and some even created it. In fact, I'm currently being taught my maths specialism module by their director and manager. So, if you can do some research and find something like that, they will most likely be impressed by it. Although, don't slate it, like I did with decision maths a few weeks ago, only to find out that the lecturer that asked was instrumental in it's foundation in A level maths!

    Good luck!

As a second year BEd Primary Mathematics student, feel free to ask any more questions. 04MR17 is also a primary education student (I think) and knows a lot about it so can also answer any further questions you may have.

    Keele.

But since you're primary ed and that's the most popular thing for this sub forum I might send you a PM about something soon?

Not immediately though because a bit busy with some viscious seminar tutors.
