In a lead up to the new expansion Battle for Azeroth, you can now level from 10-60 in almost every zone on both Kalimdor and Eastern Kingdoms.
So, for instance, you can level in the Northern Barrens, finish all the quests in the zone, get the achievements and then move off to somewhere else, never having to worry about low-level mobs because they'll be your own level (give or take 1).
It almost feels like the Vanilla and Burning Crusade levelling system, but of course, you have the extra experience from heirlooms too.
So far, I'm really enjoying it.

I think it's a cool idea. My only concern is that players will potentially miss out on a lot of zones.

Its a good idea, now you're not restricted to the same linear path. Would be nice to level via different routes.
