Frankly to say I cannot decide. I got an unconditional offer from both unis. UOS is a Russel Group member, whilest Reading is ranked higher. I tried to do some research but I cannot find any relevant answers. The main modules I'd like to study are international law and/or financial law.

Forget about the rankings. Southampton is the better law school in terms of rep, academics and academic rigour. More commercial, too, so if you wanna sell your soul to the City, you'll be set to go.
Southampton has many international commercial law specialists, exploring maritime and letters of credit. I do not think it has a particular finance specialism, but your education there will be more closely aligned with finance than at Reading.Last edited by Notoriety; 02-02-2018 at 23:42.
