I want to do biochemistry at Oxford what can help?

good grades - reading widel are two good places to start

also a beyond the specification understanding of biology and chemistry will be critical to you interview

Do as much 'super-curricular' stuff as you can to do with Biochemistry. Try to find work experience/taster days in a lab, apply for summer schools, read books and journals about specific areas of the field that interest you.

Also ensure you have a very clear idea of what you like about the course and why you want to study it at Oxford in particular. Wider reading will help a lot in terms of the knowledge you have for the field.

It's worth noting that Oxford is pretty strict on GCSEs, so they need to be mostly A*s and the rest As (unless you have extenuating circumstances or went to an underperforming school).

    Good luck
Have you ever experienced racism/sexism at uni?
