Can you only apply for this once?

Or can you complete a course, say like an Access course and then apply for it again when doing a degree from say the Open Uni?

    Hi lil minx,

Advanced Learner Loans are repayable, non means tested (not based on the household income) fee loans for all eligible persons aged 19 or over, who wish to undertake courses at Level 3 or above at a College or Training Organisation in England. You will apply for this when you undertake the Access course.

You can be confident that this will not affect your future entitlement for support when you undertake your undergraduate degree.

Only previous study at the higher education level may be considered when assessing student's entitlement to finance. This will depend on whether they studied full-time or part-time and if they received a qualification.

    Regards Rona
