As the title says, it would be my dream to study economics and management at Oxford. It's a longshot but we have to have a goal, right?I am planning to do economics, maths and history at a-level, with biology at AS. Is it an implied prerequisite to have done further maths at least to AS? And are there any other subject choices that might improve my chances of getting in?

    Thanks.

Nah, your subject choices are fine; just focus on getting the predicted scores and doing well on the TSA.

It isn’t necessary at all, and I doubt it really helps. I met plenty of people at the interview who didn’t do it, and they had a good of a chance as anyone else.

of course further maths helps with an economics degree. the only reason i recommended doing it is because when i applied to cam for econ, i was asked why i didn't pick further maths, and the website also recommended that further maths is done at least to AS level. i was assuming Oxford would be similar.
