    Hello everyone!

    The next academic year i'm starting to study Psychology at University but I am still struggling deciding whether Loughborough or Leicester uni would be better.

    So far, I have considered this:

    Loughborough:
    ranked 4th in Psychology;
    only 1 scholarship for EU based on income (I am scared I might not get it for some reason);
    the buildings look more modern;
    I was told that as city it could be slightly more dangerous.

    Leicester:
    lower ranked on the league table;
    2 scholarships for EU - based on income and grades - but the one based on grades can be spent only in a few specific ways;
    a course on Applied Psychology instead of just Psychology which would help considering the career I'd like to have (but it's also true that I would have the chance to specialise later on during my Master and Phd).

    If anyone could help me, sharing their opinions about each uni and which one they think it's better, I would be so grateful!!

    Hi demonsheart93

    As far as finding out about scholarships at Loughborough, you could e-mail Student Enquires and they'll be able to give you more info on the scholarships:
    [email protected] and take that uncertainty out of the equation.

    As for which is better - that's something you need to decide. Compare the courses in terms of content, employability etc and also have a look at the whole student experience.

    Also we're a single site campus so everything is in one place - including accommodation which is either on or literally just off campus - have a look at the campus map for more of an idea: https://maps.lboro.ac.uk/

    If you've anything specific you'd like to ask about Loughborough - we'll be happy to help.
    Good luck with your decision!
    Vicky
