Planning too might be a better way of looking at it.
I'm 30 and nearly 31, I am Gay and I only came out at 29.
I feel I have missed a lot as many lose their virginity at 16 / 18
I've never been with a guy before and I'm not bad looking but I haven't put myself in a position to meet a guy, clubs and pubs etc don't appeal to me and the guys in my area aren't good looking, there's some guys who are my type in my area but escorts, six packs, tanned, and hot.
I'm worried about the risk factors of meeting someone random at a flat or somewhere no one knows where I am.
My friends tell me just to do it and I'm concerned I Won't be any good.

With specific relation to your last concern - wouldnt worry about 'not being good' theyre quite literally paid to take such things into account. If you decide to go through with it just have fun and try to enjoy yourself!

Do you think I'm overthinking it? For instance if you see someone on a night out they meet in a club, they are strangers and then the girl goes back to the guys place. I feel that's the same thing in my respect but we are both guys in this instance. I just get so nervous to the point of anxiety.

believe me many don't, they just lie about losing it at that age

you'd be surprised by how many people are actually still a virgin in their 30s

Please don't give into that pressure. Don't do this. You'll probably regret it and let's be honest, do you really need/want to ?
Put yourself out there in another way, it's never too late to meet someone.
Put yourself in a position to meet a guy through apps, hobbies, honestly you'll probably find someone through a random encounter when you're not expecting it. Build on your confidence.
    Don't go down this route.
    You deserve better.

try Grinder... or whatever its called, the gay version of Tinder

plenty of gay guys would be on there looking for casual sex I'm sure, better to get it for free than have to pay for it

I just feel bad like all the time. It especially hits me in the summer, when it's really warm weather and you see guys and their girlfriends holding hands
I want that, but it's so difficult being a gay guy, I'm good looking but not cocky with it , and I've never been asked out by a guy, I don't have the best Gaydar
but I want to be with someone.

I feel as I hit 31 in a few months my life is going to be empty and me being alone.
