Hi, I have applied for a university and was very excited to recieve a conditional offer! The offer is the correct course I have applied for (Adult Nursing) however the university offers this course at two different campuses, and I have been listed as the wrong campus to the one I put in my UCAS application & discussed in my interview! I am going to call the university in the week however it currently being a saturday I have become very anxious (this course means a lot to me) and wanted some closure. Has anyone else had this situation? If so, was the wrong campus put down by mistake (despite it being the opposite one to my UCAS application) or do universities do this sometimes if they teach the same course at multiple campuses and have limited places on each? It is not the campus I specified and not in a location where it is possible for me to live, I did explain this in the interview fairly clearly but it seems they did not regard that.
    Thanks in advance!

It could be a mistake or they genuinely offered that campus , I m afraid there's no way of knowing until you can speak to them tommorow

It may be that they have already run out of places at the campus you wanted, and offered you the other one, or it could be a mistake. The best you can do is ring up and ask. If you have circumstances that means you wouldn't be able to study if you weren't on the original campus you chose, then they may have a solution for you.

Let us know how you get on.

    Hi,
Thanks for your concern! I called them, they said my application definatley specified the campus I wanted and so did my interview notes so they think this must have been an: 'error'. I asked if they could correct this or if it meant the other campus just wasn't an option to me & they said the conditional offer was for the course so I SHOULD have my choice of campus (the 'SHOULD' worries me). Anyway, they did essentially nothing but pass it from admissions to admin today and told me they'll email within a week with the outcome. I don't feel much better.

Its just inconceivable for me to go to the campus they've specified in my conditional offer letter as I don't drive, the nearest public transport drops you about a 2 hour walk away (the campus isn't near any main towns) & there are no halls in that area where I could live. So I hope this gets sorted or I can't go there.
