# Chemistry Question Help!!! watch

1. I can't understand how to do it no matter how hard I try. The answer is B.

3. Consider the molar ratios. It is a 1:3.5 ratio producing a gas and a liquid in a 2:3 ratio. Therefore 100cm3 of ethane reacts with 350cm3 of oxygen. We had 400cm3 of oxygen at the start therefore 400-350= 50cm3. We are only looking for the volume of gas produced therefore we only look at the 2CO2 produced. The ratio is 13.5)3. Therefore if 100cm3 of ethane reacted we get 200cm3 of CO2. Finally add the two volumes up 200+50 to give 250cm3.
