Lack of Gay People at Lincoln?

Considering there is no Gay club in Lincoln, what exaclty goes on at the LGBT society, and is it true that there are hardly any gay people at Lincoln Uni. would I be better off staying up in Manchester?

There is Christophers I suppose, I would say ask Tom and Chris (they dragged me there) but they've stopped using the site I think :s

I wouldn't say there is a lack of gay people in Lincoln, perhaps try checking out the LGBT soc on Facebook :smile:

Here in Portsmouth they have clubs that put on gay nights. Although they do have a gay club and a gay pub or two. But yeah, perhaps in Lincoln they have clubs that put on gay nights. Also, I can guarantee that there is at least one other gay person at Lincoln uni - friend of mine. But it's a bit silly going around asking if there are any gay people in the uni, they don't go around with neon signs on their forehead.

There's a few gay pubs about and I have a few gay friends. They're just after a normal night out like the rest of us though so we don't go elsewhere.

probably, but as there's only a dozen students here out of ~10,000 it's hard to know what everyone does.

I hope there are some gay guys in Lincoln who I can make friends with. I have yet to experience any kind of gay scene. So it'd be nice to have a couple of gay friends. I know they have a LGBT but I don't know how successful it is. I hope Lincoln isn't homophobic.

theres loads of gay guys in lincoln, i know of about 10 guys who are all gay

yeah there's the LGBT which seemed to be popular the couple of times I went (my housemate was a member and just invited me on a night out) and was pretty good. Also depending on course there are just gay people who hang around as if sexuality means nothing so overall I think there is a balance.

There is one gay club here for sure, called Scene. Also gay people exist here as well, I know a few myself who are LGBT+ and go to Lincoln uni, so idk where you got your stats from.
