    Hi everyone 😀
So I've just accepted an unconditional offer from York to study BA Philosophy. I'm looking at accommodation and I'm unsure which to go for? Campus East looks nice but looks quite far away. Alcuin I've heard is quiet which is perfect for me coz I'm not a party animal. Vanbrugh looks convenient for proximity but is it loud? It's really just ensuite self catered I'm looking for but if any current residents can advise me or let me know what their experience was like then that would be great!

The colleges aren't that different, aside from the three Hes East colleges being relatively far away (but it's a free and fairly quick bus journey - I lived there in first year and it wasn't much of an issue). Alcuin is probably the most 'isolated' of the Hes West colleges but is right next to the library. Vanbrugh is very central. The colleges shouldn't really differ in terms of noise.
