Hey,
So this idea was suggested by @animalmagic and I thought it was a really good idea so I made a thread!!
This whole process is very stressful for those waiting for news on interview invites/offers and a thread that applicants use to keep their application journey up to date could ease that stress a little bit. Hopefully it will give people a rough idea of when to hear decisions or that they're not the only ones in the dark. It should also give future vet med applicants a vague idea of what grades/work experience are required, and show a wide range of profiles from different types of circumstances - it's alot more than grades and w/e sometimes.
You would post once only, then edit your post when you have news to add e.g. an offer or rejection.
Here's a template to copy and paste, but please feel free to add/remove/change details:

If anyone wasn't aware, University Connect was set up for this purpose. I appreciate it's poorly advertised and poorly formatted in that it lumps vet medicine with nursing and other animal-related courses (and also floods you with notifications...) but there's some older profiles on there if you're interested.
I'll put my info here one dayEDIT: that day is today...

I thought I'd also add my stats for the first time I applied last year. I know it won't be much help for people trying to track when unis are responding this year, but it might be useful to see the difference in a year's application?? idk haha
