I have an unconditional offer from Royal Holloway to study Classical Studies and I am not sure if I should take it! My other choices are KCL, Bristol, Leeds and Kent (which I also have an unconditional for) all for Classical Studies BA

I got my offers back in November and still can not make a decision- any advice?

What's making it hard to decide? Course? City? Cost? Accommodation? Societies?

The societies and the location. I already know I am rejecting Leeds and Kent. I just worry that Royal Holloway is in a very small village and wonder about the lack of nightlife. I also wonder about the advantages of going to a Russel Group too....

    Is it 'unconditional if firmed'?

What are your other offers like compared to your predictions and personal expectations?

    Hi ZoeN2,

    Congratulations on receiving an offer!

I'm a recent graduate who studied Drama and Theatre Studies at Royal Holloway and I absolutely loved my time studying. One of the reasons I chose Royal Holloway was because of it's location. Egham is only a 40 minute train journey to London, so it really is on your doorstep. I often went into the city to see shows, attend workshops and go out with friends. Around the local area, there's so much to do as well. There's plenty of shops and restaurants in Egham and Staines and Thorpe Park is only a 12 minute drive away.

On campus, you will always find something to do whether it's going out to the Students' Union, hanging out at one of our local pubs or attending a social organised by our clubs and societies.

It's a big decision to make, so I would recommend speaking with some of our current students here to ask them any questions you might have about studying at Royal Holloway.

Let me know if there's anything else I can help you with!

    Susana
