    Most people would say that your favourite kind of music depends on environmental factors. But is it possible that your favourite kind of music could also depend on your genes?? Please explain!

    Hello again! While taste in music can be down to what sort of music you’re exposed to, factors like having “perfect pitch” is a genetic factor.

    So,

    If a certain genre/artist/track is slightly off pitch, an individual may avoid such music if they carry the “perfect pitch” gene.
