Hey. I'm in year ten, about a year and a quarter from my gcse exams. I've started revision, and I'm looking for the best way to achieve the highest I can. However, I'm struggling with maths. Any advice on how I can improve and successful revision in general? Right now I'm just making notes, and learning through repetition. It's certainly not effective.

I wouldn’t necessarily recommend making notes for maths, as it’s one of those subjects where you need to practice in order to get it right. Maybe look for practice questions if you’re eage to revise, just try and stay away from the few exam papers you have as you’ll need these more in year 11 when the real exams are approaching.

Also, have you tried watching maths videos about topics you struggle with, as they often become like a teacher, taking you thorough the stages step by step? When I was at school my maths department gave us all a login to Mathswatch so it might be worth asking them too.

Hope these help, but any more questions just ask

Thanks! It helps alot. I have tried watching a few maths videos, but occasionally they don't cover all of the required topics within topics. Though, alot of the time they do work.
