    Hi

I'm interested in taking A-levels in Biology, Chemistry, Maths, History or Spanish.

I'm wondering can I simply study for them at home and then sit the exam/s? Assuming there is no coursework for the syllabus.

Also, doing an International A-level would give me an alternative option for practicals in the Sciences.
Can you sit an International A-level in the UK?

Does anyone have any exam boards they recommend for these subjects and for a self-taught student? No coursework etc.

There is no need to do 5 and it would be expensive to take all 5, even if you are just paying for the exams.
There is no coursework for Maths or Spanish for domestic A levels so any board would do.
Edexcel IAL are not available in this country. It is possible to do Cambridge International exams in this country but only at a few centres.

Interesting, thanks. Where exactly did you get this information from?

Just know it. I'm an exams officer so this is the sort of stuff that fills my brain.
