I’m in a dilemma... so, I’m going to firm Manchester for Neuroscience who want AAA. I don’t know whether I should firm Nottingham or Leicester for Neuroscience and need some advice.

Nottingham have given me a generous offer of ABB (due to me taking part in a summer school), whereas Leicester have given me an offer of ABB + an alternative offer of BBC if I successfully complete the LEAP programme, something I’ve been doing which involves visits to the university and writing an assignment.

I feel like Nottingham is the better university to study the course and the modules look better too. Is AAA and ABB too much of a narrow gap? Would it be better to be safer with BBC (which is only BBC if I complete all the work needed to pass the scheme)??

what are your predicted and what do you think you will achieve? if you expect to get your three A grades or are confident of getting at least AAB I would recommend going for the higher ranking uni with likely a better course. Nottingham is a lovely uni and campus and a great city to live in. however, do your own research on both unis and the individual differences in the courses and make sure you are happy with your choice

AAA and ABB is not too narrow a gap. It is a perfectly reasonable firm/insurance combination. If you think it worth firming AAA then you are presumably reasonably confident of getting those grades or close to them.
