    hey guys. im in the process of choosing a university after applying for ucas. i got offers from nottingham trent, brunel university london and coventry for a degree in civil engineering. but im not sure which to choose due to the mixed reviews online. any idea which one offers the best civil eng degree? i prefer a uni that has a good relationship with the industry for uni placements etc

    I don't know much about Trent or Coventry, but I know Brunel has a lot of industry links and placements for places around London, I think National/Network Rail was one of them; that'd look good on your profile I think, and they give you a salary of about £16000 - £22000 on your placement. They put emphasis on it as part of the course for employability reasons and such.
