    If the difficulty remains the same as the 2017 exams then the boundaries will probably go up. This is because teachers/students will be more used to the syllabus than the 2017 cohort plus there are more practice exams.

    But no one knows if the difficulty will remain the same which means that no one has any idea if the boundaries will go up or down. There were a lot of guesses last year and most were completely wrong so I recommend not trusting any predictions even if the person sounds like they know what they're talking about.
