A car battery uses a chemical reaction to produce an e.m.f. which drives current around a circuit.
A generator uses kinetic energy (motion) to produce an e.m.f. which drives current around a circuit. (dynamo, turbine in a power station etc.)
A receiver detects electromagnetic waves which are modulated (encoded) with information. The receiver processes the information to produce an output for different uses: radio, telecommunications, remote control, RADAR etc.Last edited by uberteknik; 05-02-2018 at 15:01.
